It really makes you wonder what people have done to force companies to write warnings like this (in the manual for installing a new battery in my laptop):
CAUTION
- Never throw the battery pack into fire
- Never short-circuit the battery pack
- Never hammer a nail into the battery pack
- Never hit a hammer on the battery pack
- Never step or tread on the battery pack
- Never shock the battery pack by throwing it.
